Marjie, I definitely feel your pain!! As we are on our 7th Beagle, I understand completely❤️. House training, or I should say, the lack there of, is SO darn tough with these noses with a dog attached! One day, hopefully soon, the light bulb WILL go on. Hang in there! I did have a good laugh, you know, service dog and all😜! However, I did meet a Beagle, that was a trained service dog, who alerted the guardian when she was about to have a seizure. Also, totally different I know, but our last Beagle was a trained therapy dog, who was also very low key and so wonderful with the hospice patients we visited. All this to say, from what you wrote, Alice is going to make a wonderful service dog❣️
Oh, Marjie, sorry, but I had to laugh! Think of Alice as a work in progress (without pulling your hair out or running wildly naked through the streets screaming Goddamned Dog!). Personally, I think she's going to be a great dog and I know you'll get her to Service Dog level in no time!

If I don’t murder her first that is…
If you throw me Laderach chocolates, I'll pick up your pens and spoons.
Deal!
If you throw me Laderach chocolates, I'll throw you your pens and spoons.
Seems fair!
